This program requires working in the hot sun. It also requires making and keeping a commitment. There are great leadership opportunities available, but they require dedication. While involved, there are several expectations of you.
They are:
1) You will work at least 2 hours a week in the garden. You will be expected to maintain a schedule you choose from the form below. As well, you will contribute any hours working on committee assignments, if you have chosen to work on a committee.
2) You will avoid foul, or any sort of degrading language or actions while at the garden.
3) You will be alcohol, tobacco and drug free.
4) You will apply with partnering service recognition programs we are associated with including The Summer of Service (later in the year)

Our program only succeeds if everybody makes and keeps commitments. Again, you are expected to fulfill your commitments of working in the garden. If you miss one scheduled time without letting the garden steward know, you will be given a warning. If you miss a second, you will be considered to have abandoned your interest in the program.
